Things to do this month...
Bay Area Bonsai Society
**************MEETINGS***************************
April - 13 (Saturday) Plantscapers Group Repotting Workshop/potluck lunch @ Plantscapers in Luxemburg
For the April meeting we will be meeting at Plantscapers (E2051 Luxemburg Rd). The meeting will start at 9am and we will be having a pot luck lunch, please bring a dish to pass, beverages will be provided by the club. The focus of the meeting will be on repotting. While there will not be a formal presentation on repotting new members may observe experienced club members repotting their trees and ask any questions they may have. If you are new to bonsai or nervous to perform repotting on your own feel free to bring one of your trees and members of the club will be available to assist you. You will need to bring you own pot, soil, and wire. As I have mentioned over the last couple of months repotting is critical to developing a healthy bonsai. This is a great opportunity to watch, learn and get your questions answered.
